Dubai Real Estate Market Showing Promising Signs of Recovery

The coronavirus pandemic has caused major disruption to economies around the world – but there are now indications that pent-up demand in the economy is finally being released.

 

A recent bulletin from the Dubai Land Department reports that real estate transactions in the UAE state have risen 43% in the year leading up to March 2021.

 

There are also encouraging signs when it comes to foreign investment: in Q1 2021, Dubai saw 5,683 new investors get involved in its property market. This has contributed to some very exciting news: last month saw the first quarterly property price rise is seven years!

 

Although many experts are reporting that prices won’t return to pre-crisis levels until next year, we can certainly see green shoots emerging. This is testament to the extraordinary work and resilience of real estate professionals in the region, who have done so much to put Dubai on the map as a truly global destination.
